Dieses Anschlußkabel reduziert durch den eingebauten Widerstand einfach und wirkungsvoll die Drehzahl des angeschlossenen Lüfters und damit auch die Lautstärke. Das Kabel ist wie ein Verlängerungskabel ausgeführt und kann einfach zwischen Lüfteranschluß (z.B. am Mainboard) und Lüfter montiert werden. Auch lassen ggf. sich mehrere Kabel hintereinander stecken, um die Drehzahl weiter zu reduzieren.
Das Kabel ist dreipolig ausgeführt und erlaubt die Weiterleitung des Tachosignals vom Lüfter.
Gesamtlänge ca. 30 cm. Jeweils einmal Stecker 3pin/Buchse 3pin.
Erzielte Drehzahlen mit einigen Lüftern:
Aqua Computer airstream 120 mm (Art. 51115): ca. 770 U/min (statt ca. 1200 bei 12V)
Papst 4412 F/2GL (Art. 51020): ca. 950 U/min (statt ca. 1500 bei 12V)
