The kryoM.2 RGBpx is a PCIe 5.0 x4 adapter for single sided M.2/M-Key PCIe SSDs and is compatible with the form factor 2280.
The integrated lighting controller and 17 individually addressable LEDs allow for a wide range of lighting options.

Special features of the kryoM.2 RGBpx:

During installation, the SSD is sandwiched between the water block and rear heat sink using thermal pads for optimum heat dissipation. The water block is made from copper, the rear heat sink is made from aluminum and anodized in black color. 17 addressable RGB LEDs can be used for effective lighting effects.

Two buttons can be used to switch between five lighting effects and six activity effects.
The currently selected effect is indicated by an LED which lights up briefly. In addition, brightness and color can be set separately. Lighting effects and activity effects can be combined as desired. The lighting can also be completely deactivated. All effects and settings are controlled and saved directly on the adapter card by a microcontroller which requires no additional software.

An RGBpx connector on the back of the board can be used to control the LEDs externally. With an optional cable/adapter, it is possible to connect the LEDs to a mainboard (ARGB) or a fan/lighting controller such as the QUADRO, OCTO or farbwerk 360, for example.

All components have been selected for perfect quality: The PCIe contacts and the PCB are completely coated with gold. For the M.2 connector, quality brand connectors made by Amphenol or Kyocera are used and the circuit paths are impedance controlled.

The adapter works at the full available speed of PCIe 5.0 and is downwards compatible with PCIe 4.0 and 3.0.

Please note: SSD not included in delivery. Compatible with M.2 form factor 2280 (width 22 mm, length 80 mm), heights S1/S2/S3 (single sided, maximum component height 1.2/1.35/1.5 mm, corresponding to max. 2.3 mm including PCB), M key.
Activity effects are only available if the installed SSD provides activity indication as an electrical signal.
