Reinforced back plate for socket 1851/1700

Reinforced, rigid back plate for use with Socket 1851/1700 motherboards. Due to the increased stability compared to die cut sheet metal back plates, cooling performance of the CPU cooler is often significantly increased.

The back plate is milled from massive aluminum and anodized in black. It also replaces the rear metal plate of the CPU socket and is screwed directly to the CPU retention mechanism of the CPU socket. The rigid assembly reduces deformation of the motherboard in the CPU area to an absolute minimum and protects the sensitive CPU socket - highly recommended for frequent CPU/cooler installation or when using coolers with increased contact pressure.
A plastic foil is installed in the relevant area of the back plate for electric insulation and protection of the delicate pcb tracks in contact with the back plate.
